Check a DAO proposal before you vote
A proposal's description can say anything; its calldata does what it does. DAO Proposal Verdict reads the code, not the pitch.
What it checks
- Every target, value, and calldata payload decoded.
- Governance parameters checked, including quorum, proposal threshold, timelock delay, and voting period.
- Target contracts screened with Slither.
- The proposal executed on a fork, with the state diff reported.
- A verdict of GO, CAUTION, or BLOCK, returned with a confidence level.
How it works
- POST the proposal data. Send the governor address, targets, values, calldatas, and description hash for a proposal on Ethereum or Base.
- The service verifies it. It recomputes the proposal ID, verifies the proposal's on-chain state, and screens the target contracts.
- Execution is simulated. The proposal is run on a fork so the resulting state changes can be inspected before the verdict is returned.

Why it exists
In May 2023, the Tornado Cash DAO approved a proposal that looked identical to a legitimate one. Hidden inside was a contract swap that drained roughly 483,000 TORN. The text matched; the code didn't.
Pricing
| Service | What it returns | Price |
|---|---|---|
| DAO Proposal Preview | Decoded targets and governance parameters | $0.002 |
| DAO Proposal Verdict | The full GO / CAUTION / BLOCK verdict | $0.25 |
Both are paid in USDC over x402 on Base.
Honest limits
A verdict is not an audit and not a safety guarantee. If simulation cannot run, the answer is INCONCLUSIVE, never a guessed GO. Anything the service cannot verify is reported as UNKNOWN.
